Current federal and state government funding opportunities

With instant asset depreciation and a pool of funding opportunities from federal and state governments, it seems like there has never been a better time to make investments in infrastructure.













In the following please see a short overview of what we have found is available

that could support your business.


The threshold for each asset increased to $150,000 until 31 December 2020.

The Australian Recycling Investment Fund draws on existing CEFC finance. In line with the CEFC Act, eligible projects under the Australian Recycling Investment Fund are required to draw on renewable energy, energy efficiency and low emissions technologies and to contribute to emissions reduction.

Please note $3.75 million has been made available to support organisations impacted by the Mixed Waste Organics Outputs decision. Only streams 1 and 5 are available this round Applications must be submitted before 3pm on 3 September 2020

The Sustainable Infrastructure Fund supports local governments and alpine resort management boards to use recycled materials in infrastructure projects. The fund is delivered by Sustainability Victoria, on behalf of the Victorian Government.

Applications close: 3pm, 8 October 2020

Funding is available to local governments, established businesses and not-for-profits looking to use proven resource recovery technologies to improve existing operations or bring significant new facilities to Queensland. Applications are also welcome from consortia offering integrated supply chain solutions.

South Australian businesses and local governments that recover, handle and

process recyclable materials with the opportunity to invest in equipment,

technology and processes to respond to China's National Sword policy and prevailing market conditions. Funds will be allocated until they are exhausted

Funding for coordinated business groups to transition to a circular economy

WasteSorted Grants provide funding for:

  • recycling infrastructure development

  • initiatives and events that contribute to waste avoidance and resource recovery.
